GoGreen at the 2024 Gordon Research Conferences
August 21, 2024GoGreen was at CHEMCH2024 from July 2nd – 5th 2024. Several researchers from the GoGreen project attended the 7th International Congress on Chemistry for Cultural Heritage in Bratislava. Joining the conference were Katrien Keune (Rijksmuseum / UvA), Edith Joseph (HES-SO), Silvia Prati (UniBo), Qing Wu (HES-SO), Sander van Lith (UvA) and Burcu Keser (UniBo)
During the conference, several GoGreen researchers presented their research:

The presentation from Sander van Lith (UvA) on “Chemical Evolution of Oil Paints Under Different Hygrothermal Ageing Conditions”.

Qing Wu (HES-SO) presenting her research “Assessment of Tarnished Silver Test Systems Prepared with Bui-Based Green Ageing Methods”.

Presentation by Burcu Keser (UniBo) on innovative green cleaning systems: “Development of Novel Green Cleaning Systems for the Removal of Dammar Varnish From Easel Paintings”.

Katrien Keune (Rijksmuseum / UvA) presenting the overall goals of GoGreen:
“The GoGreen project: Developments of Green Technologies for Preventive and Remedial Conservation Practics”.
