In a recent article on the rise of young women researchers, Roberta is highlighted for her work at the intersection of science and heritage conservation. The article features her work and perspective as a young woman scientist, exploring her research path, the challenges she has faced, and her views on the evolving role of science in society, while also showcasing the broader contributions of the new generation of researchers.
Roberta her research contributed to the development of an innovative stabilising treatment for ancient glass, now also linked to a patent: an important step forward in making conservation more effective and sustainable.
As part of the GoGreen project, her work reflects a new generation of scientists driving greener, safer, and more responsible approaches to cultural heritage conservation. A great example of how research, innovation, and sustainability can come together to shape the future of heritage.
